Drying Up

Drying up was worse than the C Section!

The lumpectomy was originally scheduled for August 10th, 2007... 6 days after Aaron was born. And when Kristy decided to dry up, she called the General Surgeon, Dr. Robert Naylor, and rescheduled the lumpectomy to a week later, August 17th...to give herself more time.

After staying on pain pills and using 2 sports bras at one time and ice packs round the clock, after a week, it started working! Kristy was so ornery and in so much pain.

THEN Dr. Naylor called on August 15th and said he needed to reschedule the surgery again to August 21st because he had something come up on August 17th. Which relieved Kristy somewhat because that would give her more time to dry up... but she was concerned because the surgery would be over a month since her cancer diagnosis.
