I put this picture on this post because this is a representation of Jana. ... at least in my mind....(she's giving us the "evil eye"....)
So the state of Utah called us last night and told us that although Jana put in papers to request the case for child support be closed, (which we opened it right up again in Charles' name), Jana told them it was a "misunderstanding" and she meant to only stop the modification order, not to close the case.... so Utah closed Charles' case and reopened the case in her name.
Boy, she's good.
We also found out that they're not going to modify the order because Jana doesn't make much more.
AND we found out that she gets $495/month from the City of Seattle for her $750/month daycare. And she wanted us to pay her $375/month for our "half" of daycare... which means she wouldn't have to pay ANYTHING and she would make $120/month on top of that! Can you believe her?!?!?!?!??
And Charles is mad at me because I say too much to the state about Jana and so now it seems like nothing is going our way...because of my big mouth.
We're both really nervous about things and we're trying to figure out how much more we can handle. Because, frankly, we've crossed the point of what we can handle.
In April, our lease comes up and we have to figure out if we should move or renew the lease and if it increases (which has been the case), how much more can we afford? And I called around to other apartments in the area and things that were $850/month a year ago are $1000/month. So rent is going up all over and we absolutely are going to get in a crunch. What a freaking nightmare.
What is best? I don't know.
